Title

Revealed Aug. 20th 2019 via the @007 James Bond Twitter account, the 25th film in the franchise will be titled “No Time To Die.”

Synopsis

Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.

Bond 25 is produced by Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli under Albert R. Broccoli’s EON Productions and Metro Goldwyn Mayer Studios.

Director

The 25th Bond film is being directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga (Sin Nombre, Beasts of No Nation).

Cast

Bond 25 stars Daniel Craig as Ian Fleming’s James Bond. It will be his fifth time playing the role of 007. Returning cast members include Ralph Fiennes (M), Naomie Harris (Eve Moneypenny), Rory Kinnear (Tanner), Léa Seydoux (Madeleine Swann), Ben Whishaw (Q) and Jeffrey Wright (Felix Leiter). Bond 25 will introduce Ana de Armas (Paloma), Dali Benssalah, David Dencik, Lashana Lynch, Billy Magnussen and Rami Malek as the story’s villain.

Writers

Bond 25 is being written by Neal Purvis, Robert Wade, Scott Z. Burns, and Cary Joji Fukunaga, and Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

Location

Bond 25 will be based at Pinewood Studios in the UK, and on location in Italy, Jamaica, London, and Norway.

Release Date

MGM will premiere Bond 25 through United Artists on April 8, 2020, and through Universal Pictures International and MGM in the UK and internationally starting April 3, 2020.
