It’s as good as confirmed! The next James Bond will likely be English actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson. The Sun reported the news this morning and has been making headlines worldwide ever since. According to The Sun’s inside source, “Bond is Aaron’s job, should he wish to accept it.”
Taylor-Johnson was most recently seen in the Brad Pitt movie Bullet Train (2022) where he played the assassin named Tangerine. Taylor-Johnson also starred in Christopher Nolan’s Tenet as military commander Ives, Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) and Avengers: Age of Ultron as Pietro Maximoff, and in Kick-Ass (2010) and Kick-Ass 2 (2013) as the home-grown superhero Kick-Ass (Dave Lizewski).
Daniel Craig completed his last movie as James Bond in the movie No Time To Die (2021), his fifth stint as 007. If accepted, Taylor-Johnson will be the seventh actor to play James Bond (see all Bond actors here) ever since Sean Connery made his debut in 1962’s Dr. No.
