MGM has pushed the premiere date of “No Time To Die” to October 8, 2021 in the US, UK, Canada, and other international countries. The 3rd such delay is due to the worldwide coronavirus pandemic that has forced the closure of many theaters and moved some studios to release films online at home instead of at public venues.
“No Time To Die” has been delayed at least three times. The first was just before the original opening date of April 8, 2020 when the movie was pushed to Nov. 25, 2020. The second major delay came last fall when MGM optimistically slated an April 2, 2021 release.
Now, we’ll have to wait and see if Oct. 8 is realistic and whether or not Covid-19 is still preventing theaters from getting back to normal operations.
